Born of my experiences as an x-ray technician. A
14-
year old is born with syndactyly (webbed toes
and fingers) and, as she moves toward her 18th
year, finds her body converting to the body of a
mermaid. A story (and consequences) she discovers
too late, known and concealed too well by her mother
and her grandmother and all her ancestors.
